Susan Biegler originally started performing in the New York City area as part of the duo “Benna & Bieg” before forming “The Lazy Susans” with Susan Gencarelli and David Lawrence. She has opened for Donovan, Patty Larkin, Cliff Eberhardt and Aztec Two-Step, among others. Her songs have earned kudos in The Billboard Song Contest as an Honorable Mention, as well as being a finalist selection in The Telluride Bluegrass Festival Troubadour Contest. Richard Shindell credits her with writing the second-saddest song he’s ever heard.
On December 10, 2015 Deejay Brother Jedley of WAYO 104.3FM, Rochester NY broadcast a show dedicated to highlighting female vocalists. Biegler’s Gonna Gonna was featured in his special program, alongside artists including Emmylou Harris, Tina Turner, Gladys Knight and Janis Joplin, among others.
